Barbara Stanwyck
Barbara Stanwyck, nascida Ruby Catherine Stevens, (Nova Iorque, 16 de julho de 1907 — Santa Mônica, 20 de janeiro de 1990) foi uma atriz, modelo e dançarina estadunidense. Dois de seus papéis mais marcantes e que lhe valeram dois prêmios Emmy de televisão foram a matriarca da série de TV Big Valley, na década de 60, e a fazendeira Mary Carson em Pássaros Feridos, produzida em 1983. Teve quatro indicações para o Óscar mas acabou levando apenas um honorário pelo conjunto da sua obra, em 1982. Barbara morreu de insuficiência cardíaca, aos 82 anos, no St. John's Hospital.
