King Vidor
King Wallis Vidor (8 de fevereiro de 1894 - 1 de novembro de 1982) foi um diretor de cinema, produtor de cinema e roteirista americano cuja carreira durou quase sete décadas. Em 1979, ele recebeu um Oscar Honorário por suas "realizações incomparáveis como criador e inovador cinematográfico". Ele foi indicado cinco vezes ao Oscar de Melhor Diretor e ganhou oito prêmios internacionais de cinema durante sua carreira. Os filmes mais conhecidos de Vidor incluem The Big Parade (1925), The Crowd (1928), Stella Dallas (1937) e Duel in the Sun (1946).
