Joy Hermalyn

Joy Hermalyn has been singing, acting, and attempting to dance for an extremely long time. Having performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and across various regional theaters for many years, some of her many credits include Fiddler on the Roof, The Crucible, Sweeney Todd, and The Sound of Music. An operatic soprano, she’s also performed in various operas in the US, Italy, and France, including at the Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall in New York City. Since 2014, she’s been a voice teacher at the Shen Curriculum for Musical Theater at Yale. A graduate of New York University and Mannes College of Music, she’s also a private voice coach and happy to engage in voice coaching sessions while visiting China.
