James R.W. Hiatt

James Robert Wesley Hiatt is the CEO and one of the founders of Mændström - a turn-key full service Production Company. He grew up in Wilmore, Kentucky - a town of 6,000 people, two stop lights, and more PhDs and Masters degrees than streets. He graduated from Asbury University in 2010, with a BA in Media and Communication Studies, with emphases in Film, TV Production, and Performance. He also studied Literature, Philosophy, and Forensics. In 2009, He attended the Los Angeles Film Studies Program, and Interned with Sideshow Media Group. He has resided in Los Angeles since 2010, mostly working as a Director and First AD.
