Herbert Blaché
Director, productor y guionista británico nacido en Londres. Con 24 años trabajó como operador de cámara en el estudio Gaumont en París. Allí conoció a la que sería su esposa, la directora Alice Guy. Juntos se trasladaron a Nueva York para promover la compañía francesa en los Estados Unidos. Herbert dirigió los estudios Gaumont en Flushing y fue el responsable de la comercialización de la marca. Produjo y dirigió más de sesenta películas y más tarde fue gerente de producción de la Universal.
